Know Before You Go
The Woods of Lost Souls is a real outdoor haunted trail through the woods of Columbia Station, Ohio. This isn't an indoor haunted house with smooth floors, climate control and a roof over your head. You're entering the woods. That means darkness, dirt, leaves, roots, uneven terrain, changing temperatures — and sometimes mud. A little preparation will make your night much more enjoyable.
Boots or sturdy closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Please do not wear your best shoes. Mud happens.
Hoodies, jackets and layers are recommended. Temperatures inside the woods can feel colder once the sun goes down.
Selecting your reservation helps us manage parking, check-in, crowd flow and proper spacing between groups.
Do Not Wear Your Best Shoes
The Woods of Lost Souls takes place on a real outdoor wooded trail. If it has rained recently, portions of the trail may become muddy. We continually maintain wet areas and do our best to keep the trail safe and manageable, but this is still Mother Nature. Unfortunately, mud happens. Boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty are your best choice.

Our scare actors are instructed not to intentionally touch or grab our guests.
They may get close. They may appear when you least expect them. They may scare you from only a few feet away. But they are not there to grab or intentionally touch you.
Because the attraction is dark and people sometimes move suddenly when frightened, accidental incidental contact can occur.
Guests must also keep their hands to themselves. Do not grab, hit, push or intentionally touch our actors.
Reservations allow us to better manage parking, check-in, lines, crowd flow and the spacing between groups.
Proper spacing is especially important because sending groups too close together can spoil scares for your group and for the guests ahead of you.
If your ticket requires you to select a visit date, please complete your reservation before arriving.
Please arrive during your selected reservation period and follow the directions of our admissions team.
We intentionally space groups apart because a little extra space creates a much better haunted experience once you're inside the woods.

Bright screens, camera flashes and phone flashlights can ruin scares for your group and for other guests.
Phones are also very easy to drop when someone suddenly scares you.
Watch the trail — not your phone.

Keep your phone, wallet, keys, glasses, purse and other personal belongings securely stored.
Items dropped somewhere along a dark wooded trail may be difficult or impossible to recover.
This allows our team to better manage parking, check-in, guest flow and wait times.
Please arrive during your selected reservation period whenever possible.
When groups become too large, guests toward the back can see scares before reaching them and our actors do not have enough time to reset.
Smaller groups usually mean better scares.
Please do not touch, grab, hit or push actors, climb on props, damage decorations, enter restricted areas or leave the designated trail.
Guests who endanger our staff, other guests or the attraction may be removed without a refund.
Guests removed because of their behavior will not receive a refund.
But please do not run.
You are walking through a real wooded environment in the dark. Running increases the chance of falling or colliding with another guest, actor, prop or natural obstacle.
If you genuinely need assistance, notify one of our actors or staff members.
